Selling & trade-ins

Can I enquire about selling something other than a car?
Yes. The selling form supports cars, motorcycles, quad bikes, boats, aircraft, caravans, trailers, parts and other items. Choose the category and provide the relevant details. The team will confirm whether it can assist; submitting the form is not a confirmed purchase offer.
What details should I prepare for a selling enquiry?
Have the make or manufacturer, model or description, year and asking price ready where known. You can add identifiers, registration details, purchase date, service history and known faults. Leave optional details blank when unknown or not applicable.
How do I enquire about a trade-in?
Describe the item you would like to trade and choose the Motordeal listing you are interested in separately. Review the details and send your enquiry. The team will confirm whether a trade is possible and discuss the next steps.
Can I check or change my enquiry before sending?
The selling and trade-in forms guide you through Item details, History & condition, Your details and Review. Use Back to revisit a step, or an Edit button in Review to correct that section. Continue and Review enquiry do not send the form. Check the final review before using the send button.
What if I do not know the service history or registration details?
Leave optional identifiers or registration details blank if you do not know them. For service history, choose Unknown when you are unsure, or Not applicable when it does not apply to your item. Describe known faults and missing components accurately rather than guessing. Required fields are marked in the form.
