Can I save a form and finish it later?
The forms provide device-local draft saving. Avoid shared devices. Photos are not saved in drafts and must be selected again. Remove saved draft deletes the saved copy while keeping the entries currently on screen.
Where are recently viewed listings stored?
Recently viewed history is saved on this device for seven days. Use Remove or Clear history in that section to manage it. The site checks current public listings when connected; unavailable items may no longer appear.
Can I submit an enquiry while offline?
Reconnect before submitting a form or checking live stock. A saved draft is not a submitted enquiry. If the site cannot confirm receipt after you submit, contact the team before trying again to avoid sending a duplicate.
How do I install the Motordeal app?
Open Motordeal in your regular browser. On Android Chrome, open the browser menu and choose Install and create shortcut, then Install; wording can vary by version. On iPhone or iPad, open Safari, choose Share, then Add to Home Screen. Keep Open as Web App enabled if offered. You can also use Install Motordeal app when the website shows that button. If your browser does not offer installation, you can still use the website.
What can I use in the app without a connection?
Live listings, photos, full vehicle pages and form submissions need a connection. Authorised salespeople can sync the team stocklist while online, then use its saved stock and personal notes on that device. Check the last-sync time: saved prices and availability may be out of date. Keep the app on a private device. Browser storage can be removed by device cleanup, so reconnect to sync notes and do not rely on it as your only copy.
How should I update the Motordeal app?
When an update is ready, the website shows Update & reload. Save or finish your work before choosing it: the current page will reload. Installing an update in another tab does not deliberately reload a form you are working on. If you have unsent notes, reconnect and check their sync status before clearing browser data or removing the app.
Are buying pods, selling pods and auctions available?
These sections are marked Coming soon. They are not active services on this website. Contact Motordeal about current buying, selling and trade-in options.
How do saved items work?
Use Save on a listing to keep it in Saved, separately from comparison. Up to 24 items are stored on this device for 30 days; they do not follow your account to another device. Remove individual items or clear the list whenever you choose. Saved items do not reserve stock, and current details require a connection.
